Helicopter Tour
The Dominican Republic’s coastlines are some of the most beautiful in the Caribbean thanks to an expansive coral system, unending beaches and lush jungle forests. And there’s no better way to see it than by air. Helicopter tours from 10, 20 and 30 minutes are available throughout the country and some operators will create a personalized experience. Ask Linda about this exciting excursion!

Monster Truck Safari
This full-day adventure tour allows participants to experience the diversity and beauty of the Dominican countryside in a fun, comfortable and safe environment. Holding approximately 30 people, the large eight-wheel drive safari jeeps are driven by professionals on a variety of terrain. Participants are seated up high to ensure an exceptional view of the countryside and will be covered in case of rain. Various stops throughout the day offer a glimpse of true Dominican culture and life.

Whale Watching
Between January and April each year, thousands of humpback whales of the North Atlantic population migrate to the Samana Bay region, located on the east coast of the Dominican Republic. Boat tour operators provide excursions deep into the bay so visitors may witness these large, warm blooded mammals as they play in the sea. Despite their incredible size, humpbacks are the most active and acrobatic of whales. Many tour operators also provide educational commentary about the whales during each excursion.

My name is Randy Bess and last year I visited a Caribbean Island called Hispaniola. The place I visited was Sosua!  The perfect tropical paradise. Sosua is a small Caribbean beach town located directly on the Atlantic Ocean and the North Coast of the Dominican Republic.

Originally a fishing village and small farming community, Sosua is on it’s way to becoming one the islands major tourist destinations. Many of the 20,000 residents are from all over the world including the United States, Canada, France, Germany and Italy. Spanish is the official language. English is widely spoken, especially in Sosua and Cabarete. Sosua Beach is the most dynamic beach in the Dominican Republic and according to many the most picturesque beach in the Greater Antilles.

The cultural, social, and entertainment attractions makes Sosua one of the most pleasurable vacation adventures in the Caribbean. It’s relatively unknown to most of the world making it a very affordable and true tropical getaway retreat.
